Biography

Nadia Spiliotopoulou is an actress, translator, and lyricist whose professional path is rooted in the Athens creative scene. She received her training at the Embros Theatre Drama School, studying the art of acting under esteemed mentors such as Dimitris Katalifos, Rania Oikonomidou, and Tassos Bandis. Her theatrical career includes participation in high-profile productions for the Athens Festival and regional municipal theaters in Volos and Patras. A significant milestone occurred in 2008 when she collaborated with Russian director Anatoly Vasilyev for a production of Euripides' Medea at the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus. This experience led to two years of intensive study under Vasiliev, focusing on the Russian Method of acting. In 2009, she expanded her creative output by translating Lucy Maurice’s play Indian Summer for an Athens stage production and later performed in the play Picasso, directed by Nikitas Tsakiroglou. Between 2013 and 2014, she joined the extensive European tour of the multi-disciplinary production The Other Side of Greece, directed by Stathis Livathinos, where she performed the poetry of Giorgos Seferis, C.P. Cavafy, and Odysseas Elytis. Beyond the stage, she has established a presence in the music industry as a lyricist for prominent Greek artists and groups, including Pyx Lax and Dimitris Mitropanos. Her experience in media includes producing music festivals and hosting broadcasts for Freedom Radio and Skai TV.
