Biography

Mona Ewins was born on December 28, 1903 in Strathallan Park, Onchan, Isle of Man. She was an actress, known for Crossroads (1964). She was married to Morris Parsons. She died on May 4, 1987 in Southwold, Suffolk, England, UK.

Daughter Nanette Ryder - married to Alan Stratford Johns who became a household name as DCI Charlie Barlow in Z.Cars. Nanette was also an actor and was a member of her parents theatre company when she met Alan who joined the company as leading man. They married in 1955. Mona and Morris were both members of ENSA during WW2 and travelled extensively around Europe entertaining the troops.
