David Gunning(II)

David Gunning is an Actor, Writer, Director, and Producer. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, and is a graduate of Temple University, where he holds Cum Laude honors from The School of Communications and Theater. David is also an alum of the highly coveted Stella Adler Acting Academy of Los Angeles, and has studied with renowned coaches such as Leigh Kilton-Smith, John Rosenfeld, and Penny Templeton.

David's short film, A 2nd Opinion, won Runner-Up at The American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase Competition at Festival de Cannes 2013. David also holds the award of 'Best Director' for his Short Film H 2 Hoe at The International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts in 2015. In 2017, David completed his first Feature Film Sick For Toys, a holiday thriller directed by David Del Rio (Matlock, Grease Live), and distributed by Byron Allen's Freestyle Digital Media. David's sophomore effort as a Feature Film Producer includes the Horror-Comedy, ROAD HEAD, which was released in 2020. David's latest production in development is the TV series Gripped, based upon the award winning book series written by nationally recognized author Stacy Padula, and developed by Emmy Award winning writer Mark Blutman (Boy Meets World, Girl Meets World, Ghostwriter).

As an actor, David's Film and Television credits include Sick For Toys, Blue Bloods, NCIS, LEGO Jurassic World: The Indominus Escape, Stuck in the Middle, LEGENDS, The Bold and The Beautiful, and Kidnapped.

David has also worked commercially both on camera and as a voice artist for products such as DC Comics, Honda, FORD, Budweiser, Nokia, Toyota, Time Warner Cable, Spectrum Mobile, Tastykake, McDonalds, Coors Light, Farmer's Insurance, Chase Bank and MGM Grand of Las Vegas.
