Steve Drew is a Visual Effects Supervisor based in New York, with a career in post production spanning nearly three decades.
Starting out as an Editor on hundreds of commercials and a Post Production Supervisor on documentaries and television series in Australia, he has worked across virtually every stage of the post pipeline - from the edit suite to the compositing desk to the VFX supervisor role, both on-set and vendor side.
He moved into VFX exclusively in 2010, spending five years as a Compositor at Iloura (now Framestore) in Melbourne on feature films, before joining Framestore New York in 2015. He has been supervising since 2017.
Over the course of his career he has worked on productions across Australia, the US, the UK, and Japan.
His work has been recognized by the Visual Effects Society, with three nominations and a win in 2019, as well as by the ADC, D&AD, The One Show, Clio, and AICP
