She began her career in 2006 as a Production Assistant on the ultra-low-budget indie film The Twenty, which shot on Nebbish Island near Sault Ste. Marie. Fresh out of her element-she showed up every day in flip flops, having packed for a beach vacation more than a film set. Lesson learned: she now owns several pairs of solid, closed-toe shoes and wears them religiously on set.

Since that memorable first job, Jax has steadily climbed the ranks, bringing a grounded, hands-on understanding of every layer of production. Her credits span acclaimed films and hit series including Pitch Perfect, Get Out, I, Tonya, Just Mercy, The Haunting of Hill House, The Out-Laws, Lioness (Season 1), and Bone Lake.
