    Assistant editor & photographer turned producer who worked in the UK, where in 1968, he co-founded Allegro Films with Christopher Nupen, Peter Heelas, Diana Baikie (Manager, died 1979) and David Findlay. In 1974, he left to set up wildlife specialists Partridge Films. In 1996, he sold this and moved back to South Africa where he started Peartree Films.
