Biography

She was a part of the Mobile Suit Gundam 07 Itakura Platoon variety show.

Her first major role as voice actor in 2007, when she voiced Amuro Ninagawa in Kenkô zenrakei suieibu umishô (2007). She was then featured in Minami-ke (2007) and Shugo Chara! (2007) as Yoshino and Su, respectively.

As a solo artist, she released her first single, "love your life" on October 28, 2009.

Before she was cast as Yui in K-On! (2009), she previously had learned acoustic guitar since childhood. She thought that her parents would bought her an electric guitar for her birthday, but she still accepted the acoustic guitar they bought.

At the Music Ray'n Girls Haru Choco Matsuri event in 2009, it is announced that she and other Music Ray'n affiliated voice actresses Haruka Tomatsu, Ayahi Takagaki and Minako Kotobuki will form the unit Sphere, and they released their first single "Future Stream" on April 22, 2009, and was used as the opening theme of Hatsukoi Limited.
