- Is a huge fan of Mixed Martial Arts. His favorite fighters are Randy Couture and Georges St.Pierre.

- Graduated from UCLA with a degree in Mass Communications.
- Began his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training at the highly respected Cesar Gracie Academy in Pleasant Hill, California. It is the same academy that has produced MMA fighters Nick & Nate Diaz, Jake Shields, Gilbert Melendez, & Dave Terrell.
