Dennis Petersen(VI)

Born and raised in Sweden, Dennis plunged himself into the world of film making right after high school he enrolled in the film production program at Kulturama Academy of film in Stockholm. He then studied in Gothenburg at TV production program IHTV for directing and writing. After completing the Film studies program at IHTV, Dennis threw himself into the burgeoning Gothenburg film scene as a 2nd assistant camera for major commercial productions companies. He then worked his way up to an Assistant Location Manager on feature films for a major production company. Soon after, he realized that he needed to direct and find a way to do it. So he changed gears and started working as a location scout. This allowed him the freedom to start writing his own material, and eventually start pursuing his passion... Directing and writing.

In 2012 he released his first project as a director and writer, a short film called A Secret. The short film A Secret has already Won a price for Best Short in New Media Film Festival 2012, The Accolade Competitson Award Of Merit 2012, AOF 2012 Runner up Best Foreign Film and Soho Best World Short 2013 New York. His talent, the laid-back attitude and his passion and drive have garnered Dennis many friends in the film industry. Many of which have offered their professional assistance in helping Dennis and to be a part of his next and second projects called Redeem: The beginning a pilot that was released 2013 writen and directed by Dennis. It was his desire to create something new, something different. Something that does not drown in the great Swedish mass of films produced each year. But it had to be different in the right way. From this, an idea began to take form. The idea was to spin together several genres and elements without one suffering of the other. It grew into something that does not actually exist in Sweden. A really well-made drama with action, adventure and sci-fi in a dystopian world.
