- Anna Balletbó was born on December 15, 1943 in Barcelona, Spain. She died on October 24, 2025.
- Elected deputy in Congress in the 1980, 1982, 1986, 1989, 1993 and 1996 general elections.
- After joining Convergence Socialista, founded in 1974 as a unification of some groups of socialist ideology, Balletbò began his period as a militant through the different transformations of the Socialist Movement and was the founder of the Socialist Party of Catalonia (PSC).

- Prominent role as a member of the congress during the 23-F, presided over the Olof Palme International Foundation.
- During the attempted coup d'état of February 23, 1981, Balletbò was within the Congress pregnant with twins and in an advanced state of gestation. For this reason, Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Tejero and his followers allowed the deputy to be the first to leave the chamber.
