Biography

Raphaëlle launched her career in France in 2007 at the historic Eclair Labs in Paris, working as a photo-chemical colorist. Soon after, she started to color dailies, 35mm and digital and then transitioned to the DI. Since 2011, she has worked as the lead colorist on narrative and documentary features (a handful of which she also graded the dailies for). Her expertise extends to shorts, TV shows, film archive restorations, and commercials. Over the last fifteen years, she has built relationships with DPs and directors who were awarded in major Film Festivals, including the Belgian Directors Dardenne Brothers who won the « Palme d'Or » at the Cannes Film Festival twice. Raphaëlle is a part of the Shade International Colorist Association and the French Cinema Cesar Academy in France. She has happily traded city life of beautiful Paris for the lovely nature and wildlife of Southern California where she lives with her family.
