Sumit Raaj, Actor, has climbed the ladder with sheer determination and passion stemming from his family background. His grandfather Mr. Jagdish Kanwal, and his father, Mr. J.K. Bihari, have collectively worked on over 120 films as a dialogue writer for films like Loafer, Jugnu, Chalti ka Naam Gaadi, Around the World, Teesri Manzil etc and film director respectively. Sumit Raaj’s father wrote and directed his debut blockbuster "Biwi Ho To Aisi", where Mr. Salman Khan was introduced to Indian cinema. Going through an entire 12 - year journey from a promising VFX artist, to a respected VFX supervisor, VFX director/producer and then a VFX Creative Head, Sumit Raaj possesses a vast ocean of knowledge related to all things VFX. After excelling in pre-production and production by accumulating and improvising on core industry mastery, Sumit Raaj ventured into the world of VFX to strengthen his technological prowess. Moreover, Sumit Raaj has been associated with chief production houses like Prime Focus, Raj Taru, Avitel, and Shemaroo. His tenure was decorated with crucial VFX involvements in films such as Main Hoon Na, Anthony Kaun Hai, Paathshala, C Kkompany, God Tussi Great Ho, EMI, Apaharan, Hamari Adhuri Kahani, Drishyam, Wah Taj, T24 (Tamil), Angrej (Punjabi), Love Punjab (Punjabi), Toilet-Ek Prem Katha, Rustom, Simmba, Total Dhamaal, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, Nikka Zailder 3, Good Newwz, Jind Meriye, Popkaun, Mujib and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki jaan His father's epic contribution to the film industry motivated him to deep-dive into Indian cinema. Kicking off as an assistant to director Mr. S.A. Chandrashekhar, father of Mr. Vijay, a worshiped Tamil superstar, Sumit Raaj went on to assist Mr. Mahajan, a director of Tamil films. Eventually, Sumit Raaj steered into the Bollywood industry by working on Sunny Deol's feature film, "Indian".
