Biography

Louis Dargenzio is a visionary entrepreneur and the Founder & CEO of Zello, an investment platform focused on building the backbone of Entertainment. As CEO, Louis leads with a hands-on ethos shaped by grit, bold ambition, and a belief in legacy defined by service and collective success. With over two decades of boots-on-the-ground experience, entertainment and real estate remain at the core of his life’s work.

In August 2025, he executed Zello’s first acquisition with Cinelease, an industry leading lighting, grip and production equipment company, further strengthening the platform’s position across the production ecosystem.

Louis’ career as an entrepreneur began in 2007, when he founded Zio Studio Services with just three trucks and a relentless drive to build something bigger. Over nearly 15 years as CEO, he grew it into one of California’s most trusted production service providers, driving its expansion through the origination, execution, and integration of 13 acquisitions before selling to Hudson Pacific Properties (NYSE: HPP) in 2021.

Following the sale, Louis became President of Sunset Studios, a multi-billion-dollar studio platform. There, he led sales and operations across the entire Studio and Production Service platform and played a key role in major acquisitions.

Throughout his career, Louis has earned more than 100 film and television credits. His collaborations span Warner Bros., Disney, Netflix, Amazon, Apple, A24, and Universal on features including King Richard, Space Jam, Lady Bird, Promising Young Woman and Marriage Story.

Alongside entertainment, Louis has acquired more than 7 million square feet of real estate in Los Angeles, specializing in multi-family, industrial, and opportunistic development projects. He’s also an active member of YPO and Tiger 21, and is renowned for his deep industry expertise and wide-reaching network.

Today, through Zello, Louis continues to invest in and scale trans-formative ventures while giving back to the industries and communities that shaped him. His leadership is defined not only by commercial success, but by a commitment to giving back-leveraging long-standing relationships to open doors, create opportunities, and empower the next generation of bold thinkers and builders.
