Biography

Timothy Cleary is a Brooklyn-based composer focused on vital storytelling in film, television, and radio. His recent work includes music for Kyle Mooney's "Saturday Morning All Star Hits," on Netflix, This American Life and Blood Memory (Dir. Halston Bruce), an experimental documentary capturing the world of Icelandic fisherman through imagery and music. His music has recently been featured in the documentary Current Sea (Dir. Christopher Smith) and on Saturday Night Live, where he has been a key member of the Film Unit for over a decade. Timothy is working with the Netflix Music Lab on an ongoing basis. He is also a co-founder of MicBikes, a mobile sound system supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.
