Brandy Yanchyk is an award winning independent documentary filmmaker and journalist. Since 2009, Brandy has made twenty-three television documentaries, four web series and one app. Ms. Yanchyk's productions cover a wide range of social and factual genres. Her documentaries have aired on international channels including the BBC, CBC, PBS, the CBC Documentary Channel, Rogers, CPAC, TELUS Optik, AMI, YES TV, SHAW TV, SBS for NITV Australia, AB Groupe France, VIASAT WORLD in Scandinavia, Axess TV in Sweden, 1HDTV in Russia, HRT Croatian Television, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, RUV in Iceland, PRIMA TV in the Czech Republic, Amazon Prime, Halhara Finances Limited in Cyprus, The Times Internet in India, Discovery Japan, SaigonTourist Cable Television Company Limited (SCTV), Taiwanese international airlines Eva Air, Canadian airlines WestJet and Air Canada and at film festivals around the world.

Brandy reported for BBC World's The Travel Show covering stories in Canada, Finland, Australia and New Zealand for a global audience of 72 million viewers.

She has also worked as a Broadcast Journalist at BBC World TV and the BBC World Service in London.

Brandy was a News Reporter for CBC for over a decade in the Toronto, Edmonton and London, UK bureaus.

Brandy has also made seven episodes of her travel documentary series "Seeing the USA" which is available on PBS, Create TV, Roku and Amazon Prime.

Since 2009, Brandy Yanchyk has directed, produced and written seventeen documentaries and twelve series for television that have aired all over the world including on the BBC, CBC and PBS.

Brandy worked as a reporter and producer for BBC World TV's The Travel Show, the BBC World Service, BBC World News and the CBC.
