  • Phil Parker is a screenwriter and leading freelance development consultant. Writing features in China, Czechia, and UK. Credits include 'El Greco' 'Manou the Swift', 'Gentle Jacko' and 'Hockey King'.

    Phil is one of Europe's most distinguished independent development consultants and has run a successful training and development consultancy, pH Screenplay, for over thirty years. Clients include Aardmann Animation, BBC, C4, CEE Animation and numerous independent producers and screenwriters. Projects include the Oscar and Bafta winning Wallace and Gromit - Curse of the Ware Rabbit; the multi-award winning 'The Pearce Sisters and 'Terry Prachett's Hogfather.'

    In 1994 He founder the MA Screenwriting course at LCP - now part of University of the Arts, London. Graduates went on to win a Palme D'Or, numerous Baftas, and festival awards, plus be Oscar nominated.

    In 1997 He published 'The Art and Science of screenwriting, later translated into German and Spanish.

    In 2000 he founded the UK's Film Council's training and Development operation.

    In 2006 he founded NyAC, a UK Indie film production company to create a series of original, feature films.

    In 2008 he launched BCre8ive an online development lab supported by creative champions including NIck Park, and Jocelyn Stevenson and companies including Warp Films, PlugIn Media, and Collingwood & Co.
