  • Flavio Morales, is a Peabody Award-winning programming executive and producer, focused on Latino audiences regardless of language.

    In 2024, Morales launched Alta Media, a production and consulting company that creates content partnerships with LatiNation, JK Media Group, La Plaza Museum and is part of the production team behind the upcoming official Los Lobos documentary "Native Sons".

    Morales recently served on overall development deals with award-winning actress and producer Kate del Castillo via EndemolShine Boomdog ("La Reina del Sur") and her team at Cholawood Productions with whom he executive produced "Volver a Caer" for Vix in 2023. Alongside Salma Hayek, he served as an executive producer on Laura Esquivel’s global hit series "Like Water for Chocolate" for HBO Max.

    Previously, Morales served as Executive Vice President, EndemolShine Latino, a position he held for nearly a decade, helping develop numerous hit unscripted and scripted series for U.S. Hispanic, Mexican and Latin American audiences.

    Prior to joining EndemolShine, Morales was EVP at BIG VIDA Entertainment, where he oversaw production of the NCLR ALMA Awards, along with executive producer Eva Longoria and also produced the Gerardo Ortiz concert film, "Como Un Sueño."

    Earlier in his career, Morales was a top programming executive at NBCUniversal's Telemundo's cable network mun2 (now NBCUniverso), where he developed the network's bilingual/millennial programming mix of series including hits like "I Love Jenni," "Fugitivos de la Ley" and "Larrymania."

    In 2006, Morales won the prestigious Peabody Award for his work on the documentary, "For My Country? Latinos in the Military." He was also a founding member of LATV, creating one of the first fully bilingual TV networks in the U.S., helping usher Latin Alternative music and Latino pop culture in the early 2000’s.

    Morales also serves on the Board of The Boyle Heights Arts Conservatory and LA public radio station KCRW.
