Stewart Zamudio
- Actor
Stewart Lawrence Zamudio’s story is one of perseverance, dedication, and service. Raised in a middle-class family with strong values, he learned early that hard work, education, and determination were the keys to moving forward. Born in New York City to Colombian parents, he was also influenced by his grandmother, a successful businesswoman and entrepreneur in Colombia.
From a young age, encouraged by his family to pursue acting, Stewart found his passion while performing in a middle school theater production. That early spark led to years of performances in plays, improv, and comedy throughout middle and high school. In 1999, he auditioned for the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at SUNY Purchase, advancing past the first round. Although he ultimately wasn’t accepted, the setback didn’t stop him.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications from Farmingdale State College and continued to pursue his passion for acting by training in New York City. He studied techniques including Meisner, Stella Adler, and Stanislavski, while continuing to audition for professional roles.
In 2011, he landed a singing role on PBS’s "The Electric Company", reigniting the excitement for performing that first inspired him years earlier. He later appeared on "Monsters Inside Me" and "Pandora’s Box". In 2022, he appeared on the hit series "Blue Bloods", and has since gone on to book roles in commercials, video games, and a game show.
