Johnny Herbert was born on June 25, 1964 in Brentwood, Essex, England, United Kingdom. He is an actor, known for Formula 1 (1950), Videomatch (1990) and Noel's House Party (1991). He is married to Rebecca. They have two children.

Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for: Benetton (1989 (5 GPs), 1994 (2 GPs)-1995 (17 GPs)), Tyrrell (1989 (1 GP)), Lotus (1990 (2 GPs)-1991 (7 GPs)-1992 (16 GPs)-1993 (16 GPs)-1994 (13 GPs)), Ligier (1994 (1 GP)), Sauber (1996 (16 GPs)-1997 (17 GPs)-1998 (16 GPs)), Stewart (1999 (15 GPs)) and Jaguar (2000 (17 GPs)). He started 161 Grands Prix, 3 Wins, 7 Podiums and 98 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 4th in 1995.

Champion: Le Mans Endurance Series (2004), British Formula 3 (1987).

He won the 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans.

On his debut race, the 1989 Brazilian Grand Prix, Johnny Herbert finished a surprising 4th place and scored 3 points. Herbert walked around the pit lane and paddock using crutches due to injuries from an International Formula 3000 crash in August 1988.
