Christoph Bauschinger is an award-winning Music Editor and Producer with over 70 feature film and flagship television credits to his name.
Originally from Munich, Germany, Christoph started out working as in-house engineer for Grammy winning producer Steve Mclaughlin after finishing his composition MA at the University of Bristol. As a multi-instrumentalist, programmer and engineer Christoph soon found himself covering music editorial duties, notably opening the dub for Matthew Vaughn's Kickass as his first major credit. Standout projects in the following years include Tom Hoopers Les Miserables, Studiocanal's Paddington Bear, Danny Boyle's PISTOL, and producing the score for The Kid Who Would Be King, directed by Joe Cornish. Christoph's background in performing and production makes him particularly suited to working with musical artists exploring the world of film scoring, and this has lead to a range of successful collaborations with artists including Damon Albarn (The Kid Who Would Be King/Joe Cornish) Underworld (PISTOL/Danny Boyle) Nick Urata (Paddington Bear/Paul King) and The Cinematic Orchestra (the Crimson Wing) to date.
Christoph's recent work includes the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory origins movie Wonka directed by Paul King, Netflix's Lockwood & Co. and The Gentlemen, Guy Ritchie's spin-off series of his 2020 movie.
