Bryan C. Hartnell was born on July 1, 1949 in Walla Walla, Washington, USA. He is an actor, known for Zodiac (2007), BuzzFeed Unsolved: True Crime (2016) and Case Reopened (1999). He is married to Monica Hartnell. They have two children.

Was attacked by the infamous Zodiac Killer along with friend Cecilia Ann Shepherd on 27 September, 1969.

He is now a lawyer, and resides in Redlands, California (as of 2009).

Father of Benjamin Hartnell and Jonathan Hartnell.

Son of Calvin and Catherine Hartnell.

He rarely speaks about the 1969 Lake Berryessa attack by the Zodiac Killer, though he selectively participated as a consultant or interviewee in retrospective projects, including a brief cameo appearance in David Fincher's 2007 film Zodiac and archival/documentary features like Netflix's This Is Zodiac Speaking.
