Biography

Herman's Hermits is known for Legend (2015), Bobby (2006) and Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter (1968).

An "English beat" rock band, formed in Manchester in 1964.

Members have included Peter Noone, Derek Leckenby, Barry Whitwam, Keith Hopwood, Karl Green.

After the success of their MGM feature "Hold On" in early 1966, the studio offered Herman's Hermits a contract for more movies. One was to be a remake of "A Day at the Races" (1937, starring The Marx Brothers). That movie ultimately was never made.
