  • Christopher J. Moore's professional writing career began in 2000 after winning the Nickelodeon Screenwriting fellowship for his feature screenplay "God's Child". He wrote a story about an African-American family mirroring his own family in South Central LA, and it quickly got the attention of Hollywood. Since then he has written for several major producers in Hollywood, sold screenplays, received special thanks credit for the feature film "New in Town" starring Renee' Zellweger and written for TBS hit shows "House of Payne" and "Meet the Browns." The show "House of Payne" debuted as the highest rated comedy series in cable television history and the #1 TV show in African-American households. In 2008 and 2009, the show won three and four NAACP Image Awards, including Best TV Comedy Series both years. He then completed three produced episodes of his own sitcom which he wrote, co-created, and executive produced called "Mi Casa Mi Casa" where he was also the Showrunner. In addition, he Co-Executive produced a TV pilot drama, "Beyond The Badge" which was an official selection in SeriesFest 2019. Mr. Moore has also written internationally for the animation series, "Boing the Play Rangers."

    This scribe moonlights as an author who has penned four best-selling novels. His feature film "End of The Road" starring Queen Latifah, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, and Beau Bridges debuts on Netflix (2022).

    Mr. Moore holds two BA degrees in Psychology and Film, an MA and MFA in Screenwriting from California State University, Northridge. He is an Adjunct Professor at USC.
