Biography

Mohamed Radi was born on October 14, 1939 in El Mahalla El Kubra, Gharbia, Egypt. Mohamed was a director and producer, known for Behind the Sun (Waraa al Shams) (1978), The Humans and The Jinns (1985) and Al Horob Mn Al Khanka (1986). Mohamed was married to Mona Abou Al Khair. Mohamed died on October 11, 2017 in Cairo, Egypt.

His film 'Haet El-Botolat' has been banned for 12 years under the orders of former president Hosni Mubarak for not mentioning his role in the October War in 1973.

His film The Humans and The Jinns (1985) was one the earliest horror films in Egyptian cinema.

Graduated from law school in 1962 before earning a bachelor of arts from the Higher Institute for Cinema in 1964.
