Biography

Justin Hosking is a multi-award-winning Australian actor, producer, and writer of Irish and Scottish decent.

At the core of Justin's work lies his fervent passion for storytelling and his deep appreciation for the collaborative art form. He thrives on the energy and excitement that stems from collaborating with fellow talented artists and creatives, breathing life into narratives on both stage and screen.

Justin wrote, produced, and starred in the critically acclaimed short film After Silence, which has garnered widespread recognition and accolades worldwide, as well as solidifying Justin's reputation as a multi-talented and versatile artist.

Justin has made notable appearances in various films and television series. He has worked alongside actors Kat Stewart, Aaron Pederson, Claudia Karvan and Josh Lawson amongst others; and with directors Rowan Woods, Nadia Tass and Tatiana Doroshenko.

Despite embarking on his acting career at the age of 27, Justin has swiftly established himself as a talented and versatile actor, amassing numerous awards for his exceptional work on screen.

Justin underwent extensive training in the United States under the tutelage of Eric Morris, one of the industry's most revered acting teachers. He has also worked closely with Peter Kalos for many years. Through years of relentless dedication and hard work, he has honed his craft, garnering recognition from both audiences and critics alike.

Justin's theatre work is extensive, with his first taste of professional theatre coming when he joined the esteemed Theatre Aspen in Colorado, USA for a season of repertory theatre in 2001. Justin co-founded Human Sacrifice Theatre company in 2006 which has gone on to produce many acclaimed works. Justin is an ensemble member at Red Stitch Actor's Theatre in Melbourne, where he has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the industry's most accomplished actors and directors.

Justin received his Bachelor Degree in Business (Food & Beverage Management) from Victoria University. Born and raised in Melbourne, Justin is a rare North Melbourne supporter (AFL) who loves spending time with his two kids.
