Amr Assem was born in Cairo, Egypt. His father "Assem Ghounaim" and his uncle "Galal Ghounaim" were a TV series Directors . As a child, he used to shoot and edit short movies tapped on VHS. (Class of 1992) he Participated in the school's drama department and music section. He also anchored the school's morning show, produced commercials and short videos for the students.
A graduate of music college . Helwan University , he studied Music Theory and Composing he began his feature film career in 2007 with "Ahlam Alfata Altayesh" . then he started his career in Film Editing in 2008 with "Boushkash" He is one of the most talented and well known Trailer Designers in Egypt .
