Biography

Matt Bonnici is a Production Designer and Art Director, known for Sherbrooke Down: Valley of Tears (2025), Safe Haven (2026) (2025), Streets of Colour (2023) (2023) and Of Time and the Sea (2018) (2018).

His design work spans Film, TV, Theatre, Podcasting and Live Events.

One of Matt's recent projects, 'Streets of Colour' (2023), was nominated for Best Indie Feature at the 2024 AACTA Awards, and also earned a nomination for Feature Film Production of the Year at the 2024 Screen Producers Australia Awards.

In 2024, Matt collaborated with leading designers Fiona Donovan (APDG) on Kriv Stenders' feature film 'The Correspondent', and Emma Fletcher (APDG) on the BBC Studios / ABC series 'Return to Paradise'.
