Biography

Luba was born in 1958 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She is an actress, known for 9½ Weeks (1986), Luba: How Many (Rivers to Cross) (1986) and Luba: Giving Away a Miracle (1989).

One of the few non-black artists to have received a Black Music Association Award (for "Female Entertainer of the Year").

Won three consecutive Juno Awards for "Female Vocalist of the Year" in 1985, 1986 and 1987.
