Héctor del Mar was born on November 22, 1942 in Buenos Aires, Federal District, Argentina. He was an actor, known for Lleno, por favor (1993), WWE Smackdown! (1999) and Nadie es perfecto (1995). He died on April 8, 2019 in Madrid, Madrid, Spain.

Famous in Spain along the 80s as sportscaster in Spanish's soccer games, and in the 90s and early 2000s as the Spanish host of WWF Superstars (1986) and the Japanese TV show Takeshi's Castle (1986) in its Spain's broadcasts, both co-hosted with the journalist Fernando Costilla.
