Minami Minegishi

A member of the Japanese idol group AKB48, Minami is also an actress, a member of the sub-group no3b and also made appearances in commercials on her own or as part of the band. She became even more famous when the tabloid Shukan Bunshun reported in 2013 that she had spent a night at the apartment of Alan Shirahama who is a member of the Generations boy band. As this was against the band rules she was demoted to trainee status. She promptly shaved her head as an act of contrition and apologized to the troupe's fans. With the publicity under its belt, Minami was restored to the band some six months later.
