Diana Milena is a filmmaker, photographer, actor, and documentary storyteller whose work has taken her from award-winning documentaries and international concert tours to intimate stories about people, families, and everyday life.
She began making films as a child and later studied Motion Picture, Television, and Recording Arts at Florida State University before continuing her studies in Film Production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. During college, she worked on more than 50 student film productions, developing experience in directing, producing, cinematography, and editing.
Her early documentary Keepers of Light screened at national and international film festivals and received multiple awards, including a Gold Award at WorldFest-Houston. She later worked with Metanoia Films on the award-winning feature Bella and went on to produce and direct documentary projects that screened at film festivals.
As a photographer, Diana has worked in editorial, documentary, performance, and concert photography. She traveled throughout South America as the official photographer for the Rock N Roll All-Stars, photographing a lineup that included Gene Simmons of KISS and musicians from Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard, Skid Row, Billy Idol, and other internationally known acts.
Her creative background also includes acting, dance, and performance. She trained as an actor at the New York School for Film & Television and appeared in films, television programs, commercials, and music videos. A lifelong ballet dancer, she performed with Texas Ballet Theater, Fort Worth Dallas Ballet, and Moscow Ballet, and was also a state finalist in the Miss Teen Texas Pageant.
After stepping away from her professional career for several years to raise her children, Diana is returning to filmmaking and photography with a renewed perspective. Motherhood, childhood, nature, wildlife, and life outdoors have become central influences on the way she sees and tells stories. She is most drawn to authentic moments, human connection, and the quiet details of ordinary life that so often go unnoticed.
Born into a Polish family and raised in the United States, Diana speaks Polish and English and has conversational experience with Spanish and French. She is developing new photography, documentary, and personal film projects.
