Biography

Craig Simons was born in Lafayette, Indiana in 1973. His father worked in the cable television industry and his mother worked as a secretary at various places. His father's employment would prove to be a significant factor in Craig's life. When Craig was 9, his father received a promotion and was moved to Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Thus started a familiar pattern of moving every few years due to his father's job. In order, he ended up living in Uvalde, Texas; Del Rio, Texas, Springfield, Illinois; Washington, Pennsylvania; and Midland, Texas. Craig graduated from Trinity High School in Washington, PA in 1991. He then went to the University of North Texas (UNT) in Denton, of his own accord, to pursue a degree. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1996.

In college, he met his wife to be, Misty. The two wed in March 2002. They do not have any children as of yet. Misty also shares his ambition to be a professional, and working, actor.

After graduating college, Craig wasn't too sure what kind of job he wanted to work in. He was a gas station clerk from 1996-1999. He then worked as a police dispatcher from 1999-2003. He became a police officer in 2003 and remains one to this day. It was some soul searching that lead Craig to begin pursuing his ambition to be a working actor.
