Biography

Xosé A. Touriñán is a Spanish actor, presenter, producer and director.

His beginnings in the world of acting go back to 2002 with "Os dous de sempre", a comic duo that he formed with Marcos Pereiro. In 2005 he began his career on Televisión de Galicia, where he achieved great public success thanks to "Cantareiras de Ardebullo" in the program "Luar". Touriñán became one of the most recognized comedians in Galicia, acting in series and programs such as "Padre Casares" (2008), "Air Galicia" (2009), "Land Rober" (2009-2017) and "Era visto!" (2011). In Spain, he stands out as an actor in the tv series "Fariña" (2018), "Little coincidences" (2018), "Justo antes de Cristo" (2019), "Antes de perder" (2019) or "El desorden que dejas" (2020 ) and in the film "Cuñados" (2021).

In theater, he has represented successful monologues such as "Manolo Lojo", "Monólogo do imbécil", "Curtis & Teixeiro", "Agora en serio" or "Aquí Tou!" and plays such as "Amigos ata a morte" or "Unha noite na praia". He has recently achieved great success with "Somos criminais" (2018 - 2023) and in the theater shows "Fariña" (2019) and "Recortes, caneos e outras formas de driblar" (2022). As a television presenter, he worked on "Botarse ao monte" (2009), "Tourilandia" (2012-2013) and "Rutas Bizarras" (2021).

In 2022 he debut in cinema with the short film "Nena".
