Sven Vinge, born in France, lives and works in Denmark. Sven studied filmmaking at the University in Copenhagen and at UCLA, School of Theatre, Film and Television in California, before joining the Super16 association. Sven works within both narrative fiction and documentary. In 2011, his short film "Words" was awarded the prize as best international short at Raindance Film and his most recent film, the feature documentary "In My Father's Hands" was selected by the critically-acclaimed festival CPH:DOX in March, 2017 and premiered theatrically and on national Danish television in the spring of 2018. Sven speaks fluently Danish, French and English.
