Biography

Soness Stevens is an American-born voice actor, narrator, comedian, and live performer based in Tokyo, Japan. She is best known as the longtime English voice of Hello Kitty and for her work in video games, animation, narration, and broadcast media, including titles such as ARMS, Super Bomberman R, and Time Crisis 5, as well as narration and dubbing work for NHK and NHK World.

In addition to her voice acting career, Stevens is an award-winning comedian and storyteller whose solo performances have appeared at international festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe. She is also the creator and host of "Anime-Zing! Game Show," an interactive live performance where professional voice actors dub indie animation live on stage.

A five-time TED and TEDx speaker and former associate professor at Yokohama National University, Stevens is known for bridging cultures through performance, communication, and storytelling.
