Fidel V. Ramos was born on 18 March 1928 in Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines. He was married to Amelita Jara Martinez. He died on 31 July 2022 in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines.
He served as President of the Philippines from June 30, 1992 to June 30, 1998. His years of leadership are noted for comprehensive economic reforms, which paved the way for solid economic growth all over the nation.
