Biography

She has two sisters, Maria Ilaria Venturini Fendi and Maria Teresa Venturini Fendi. Silvia, Ilaria and Teresa work in their family business, the Italian designer Company "Fendi".

She has 3 children with gemologist Bernard Delettrez: a daughter, Delfina Delettrez Fendi (b. 1987), a son Giulio Cesare Delettrez Fendi (b. 1990) and a daughter, Leonetta Delettrez Fendi (b.1997).

Her eldest daughter Delfina Delettrez Fendi is a successful jewelry designer. Through Delfina's relationship with Italian actor Claudio Santamaria she has a granddaughter, Emma, who was born in August 2007.

She has many cousins: Alessandro and Simona Saracino Fendi from her aunt Paola; Guido, Federica, Andrea and Luca Formilli Fendi from her aunt Franca; Giovanna and Alessia Caruso Fendi from her aunt Alda. All of them have been involved in the family business, the Italian designer Company "Fendi".

Her grandparents were Edoardo Fendi and Adele Casagrande who married in 1925 and had 5 daughters. Her mother is Anna Fendi (b.1933). Through her mother, Silvia has 4 aunts: Paola (b. 1931), Franca (b. 1935), Carla (b. 1937) and Alda (b. 1940).
