- David Samuel Hilfstein was born in Tallahassee, Florida, and is an American actor. A former NCAA Division I baseball player, he had his professional career cut short by injury, leading him to pursue acting in New York City. He has appeared on The Defenders (2017) opposite Finn Jones and earned supporting actor nominations for his role as Congressman Brian Figarello in the indie dark comedy Legit (2016). He is of Jewish heritage on both sides of his family and is the proud grandchild of Holocaust survivors.
