Carey Hamblett

Carey Hamblett is developing content for the global market and fostering creative and production partnerships in London and LA on projects including feature animation Generation City. Raised in London and Santa Monica, studied fine art and theatre design with post-graduate studies at the London Film School. Carey worked initially in theatre developing her understanding of narrative and character. Entering the industry in BBC post moved into production management on high profile animation and rock music programmes and directed environmental concert Eco Rock (DVD/Hendring). She went on to head the development department of a London company responsible for a slate of scripted and factual programs and wrote and produced youth drama for Channel 4. She has written a number of TV and feature scripts and been a consultant on screenplays in most genres. She developed unique creative script workshops and has lectured in cinema and production. Output includes short films, character design and multi-media.
