Biography

Angus Imrie was born on August 2, 1994 in Isle of Wight, Hampshire, England, UK. He is an actor and director, known for The Kid Who Would Be King (2019), Mickey 17 (2025) and Fleabag (2016).

His mother Celia Imrie was pregnant with him during the filming of Pat and Margaret (1994) - although Imrie's character Claire was not written as pregnant, screenwriter Victoria Wood wrote her pregnancy into the final version of the screenplay.

Angus Imrie was born on the Isle of Wight in 1994. The Isle of Wight is not part of Hampshire but is a separate county off the coast of Hampshire.

Imrie voices the character Zero in Star Trek: Prodigy (2021), he also appears as a young version of the wizard Merlin in the film The Kid Who Would Be King (2019); Sir Patrick Stewart plays the older version of Merlin. Stewart, of course, also appears in the Star Trek universe as Captain/Admiral Jean-Luc Picard.
