Biography

Heather María Ács is a writer/director, intimacy coordinator, and actor. Mx. Ács is one of the first 50 intimacy coordinators certified in the U.S. and has worked for Netflix, Amazon, HBO Max, and AppleTV, for series/features including Severance, Dead Ringers, and Fire Island. Her queer series "Radiant Flux" was selected for Series Mania Project Market, Gotham Film Market, and Stowe Story Labs. Her films have played internationally (Best LGBTQ Short, Big Apple Film Festival, NY). She identifies as queer, mixed-race Anglo-Chicanx, and was raised working-class. She specializes in authentic representation for LGBTQIA+ communities, BDSM/kink, working with diverse casts, and body positivity. Mx. Ács is based in NYC/LA.
