James Russell is an Internationally recognised, Award Winning Multi Camera Director/Director and live specialist with over 23 years experience. He works across live events, music, light entertainment, fashion and branded content. James works both in the UK & worldwide and is freelance. Over the years he has worked with some of the biggest artists and names in the world such as Stevie Wonder, Foo Fighters, Katy Perry, Morrissey, Hans Zimmer, Usher, Coldplay, Rihanna, Jay-Z & Beyonce, Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkey's, Metallica and Kylie to name just a few. James continues to direct various Awards Shows, major festivals, events and numerous TV, on Demand broadcasts and Blu-Ray specials in the UK and around the globe. He also directs various launch events and fashion shows with labels including Stella McCartney, Jaguar LandRover, Mazda, River Island and Burberry. Over the years he has developed an adaptable style and versatility, as well as the ability to translate a live performance or event onto the screen in a truthful yet innovative and appealing way.
