Cassandra Han (CSA) is a two-time Artios Award-nominated American casting director based in Germany. She has lived and worked across Europe since 2003 and, following more than a decade casting in New York, has established a career spanning the US, UK and European markets, specializing in feature films and high-end television.
Alongside her production casting work, Cassandra develops cast packages for international feature films and television series, collaborating with producers, sales companies and talent representatives to bridge creative and financing considerations.
Recent credits include The Weight, starring Ethan Hawke and Russell Crowe; The Physician II for Constantin Film and Amazon; Samia, directed by Yasemin Şamdereli, which received a Special Jury Mention at the Tribeca Film Festival; Compound 9, currently in pre-production in the United States; and The Nameless Ballad, premiering at FrightFest in London.
Her UK casting credits include Left Seat, starring Richard Gere and Michelle Rodriguez; Gould Lover; the upcoming Lizard Queen; Miss Fallaci for Paramount+; Black Gold for ARD; and Quezon, a major box-office success in the Philippines.
Her recent German-language casting work includes Frankie, based on the bestselling novel; the upcoming Amazon features Back to the '90s and Morgen ist jetzt; She Said Maybe for Netflix; multiple films in Die Drei Fragezeichen franchise for Sony Pictures; Eine Billion Dollar for Paramount+; and Back for More for ZDF. She is currently casting Yasemin Şamdereli's next feature film, Der Lappen.
Cassandra cast the principal German roles for the Lionsgate/YES Studios series The German and for a major global video game franchise under NDA. Additional German casting credits include TriStar Pictures' The Nightingale.
Her European arthouse work includes Oskar Roehler's Bad Director; the award-winning Polish features Filip (released internationally on Netflix) and Chopin, Chopin; Dror Zahavi's Crescendo; and co-casting on Giacomo Abbruzzese's upcoming Disorder.

Cassandra serves as President of the Global Chapter of Casting Society and is a member of the European Film Academy and the German Film Academy. She holds an MFA in Acting from Trinity Repertory Company and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania.
