Joshua HB Dennard, a lifelong film enthusiast, has journeyed through various experiences that have shaped his passion for entertainment. From his early days as a child model to assisting his mother in her nationally recognized children's book performances, Joshua's exposure to the world of entertainment began at a tender age.

Throughout his youth, Joshua embraced many activities. His mother instilled in him the values of technique, work ethic, and practice, reminding him of the African American saying that he must work twice as hard. As he grew older, Joshua's self-discovery was influenced by experiences of racism and the impact of Spike Lee's film "Malcolm X." Embracing his identity, he proudly wore his hair in a perfectly trimmed afro, using it as a form of protest against societal norms.

Joshua's journey led him to California after a successful placement in the top three across multiple categories in the AMTC competition. He became a fully realized actor in Hollywood and gained firsthand experience in production, studios, and on-screen acting. However, faced with demands to conform to a more urban look, Joshua rejected the pressure. Instead, he took a different path and began co-producing, hosting, directing, and editing his reality show called "But What About School." This independent production paved the way for his growth as a creator and taught him valuable lessons.

Continuing his pursuit of storytelling, Joshua embarked on a nationwide documentary called "Bridging the Gap" during his high school years. Along the way, he had the opportunity to interview political and entertainment legends such as Tena Marie, Rep. John Lewis, and Chris Tucker. Inspired by his experiences, Joshua returned to Atlanta, where he resumed public speaking while working on the documentary. However, he felt that something was still missing.

After graduating with a BA, Joshua founded a business alongside his mother. Utilizing their combined skills and connections, they shifted their focus toward branding and embarked on a new business venture. Joshua has won cinematography awards, premiered at the CANNES film festival, and continues to build a diverse network.

Today, as a successful working producer, cinematographer, and editor, Joshua is closer than ever to his goal. Armed with over 25 years of connections, experience, and observation, he seeks to make a difference in the industry. He identifies as a revolutionary, using entertainment as a tool for change. For Joshua, it's not just about entertainment; it's about revolutionizing the world through his work.
