- Scott W Bailey was born in Willow Grove, PA, USA to Kenneth M. Bailey, Dean of Students at Penn State's Ogontz Campus, and Lillian Bailey, a homemaker. His first role was Sir Joseph Porter KCB in his fifth-grade production of "HMS Pinafore," and continued on the amateur stage with numerous lead & supporting roles in high school, college and community theater productions.
Throughout the 1980s & 1990s Scott enjoyed a successful career as commercial voice talent & model, receiving the Male Commercial Actor award from the American Talent & Modeling Association. He also appeared in American Anthem (1986, uncredited) along with several independent film projects. After the turn of the century, Scott shifted his focus to film; his credits include The Abduction of Rachel Moore (2004), Mustang Ironheart: Preludes of Iron (2007), The Alien In The Room (2011), Savageland (2011), Baby Blue Eyes (2011), Decrypted (series, 2012), Big Hitters (series, 2013), Catalyst (2014), The Dog Bite Murders (2025) and others.
Scott is also a published author & playwright. Recent projects include The Gold Mine (novel), One Man Posse: In Search of Billy The Kid (historical), My Life As A Chicken & Other Near Misses (tongue-in-cheek memoir) & an untitled science fiction screenplay. He currently lives in Phoenix AZ.
