Biography

Chiara Gioncardi was born on October 25, 1981 in Rome, Lazio, Italy. She is an actress, known for I Am Legend (2007), Ender's Game (2013) and The Mist (2007).

Quietly intense voice

Stage actress. She graduated in Rome from classical high school where she also attended Salvatore Gioncardi's 3 years stage course (1997/1999), then went on make further theatrical studies at Pippo Di Marca's laboratory "Metateatro" focused on examinations of Shakespeare's Hamlet. She also attended Roma Tre's DAMS faculty specializing on stage direction.

She underwent rigorous training in physical acting in her schooldays: she did 6 years of artistic and rhythmic gymnastics as well as 2 years of modern dancing and 3 years of funky and hip hop. She's also a devoted boxer.
