Biography

Actress/ Production Designer Shannon Malone grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and holds an MFA in acting from the American Conservatory Theater. She is an award-winning veteran actor whose credits include off Broadway, regional theater, opera, musicals, television, and film.

In Atlanta she attended The Galloway School and was a member of the Capital City Opera Company. She trained at The Alliance Theatre, North Carolina School of the Arts, The Gaiety School of Acting (National Theatre School of Ireland) founded by Joe Dowling, and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she received a BFA in theater.

Shannon co-owned a theater company in New York City, was a member of the ScreamHQ production company in Los Angeles, co-owned the company TapirCo Productions LLC, and is owner of her own business One Take Designs LLC.

She has lived in Atlanta, San Francisco, New York City, and Los Angeles. Shannon resides in North Carolina with her husband, actor Jim Roof, and their two dogs, Lily and Bruce.
