Trevor Gureckis

Biography

Trevor Gureckis

Mini bio

  • Trevor Gureckis is an award-winning composer and producer based in NYC whose genre-defying work blends classical and electronic elements across film, television, pop, and concert music.

His extensive collaboration with M. Night Shyamalan includes scoring all four seasons of the Apple TV series Servant, with soundtracks released on Lakeshore Records, and the Universal feature Old. Other recent credits include The School Duel, directed by Todd Wiseman, Jr., released theatrically by Altered Innocence; Apple TV's The Crowded Room, starring Tom Holland and created by Akiva Goldsman; Warner Bros.' The Goldfinch, directed by John Crowley, which The Hollywood Reporter called "exceptionally fresh and disarmingly different"; Neil Burger's sci-fi feature Voyagers; and Blumhouse's Bloodline, directed by Henry Jacobson. In 2023, Gureckis expanded into scoring interactive media with EA and Motive Studios’ remake of the survival horror classic Dead Space. He also composed the main themes of three seasons of the BBC World Service podcast The Bomb.

Beyond scoring, Gureckis released his instrumental album Corte on Supertrain Records, contributed to Kanye West's The Life of Pablo and Philip Glass's REWORK_, and produced for artists including Niia.

A Yale School of Music alumnus, Gureckis has received BMI Film, TV & Visual Media Awards for both Servant and Old, and a nomination for Best Horror Film Score at the 2021 HMMA Awards. He is co-founder and Executive Creative Director of Found Objects, a NYC-based artist collective and production company.
