- Born in Porto, Portugal in 1981, Carlos Carneiro is a Portuguese director-producer based in Brooklyn, NY. Graduated in Film Production (2005) at UCA - Farnham, UK. In 2009 started a production outfit called London Sessions at Abbey Road Studios where he got to work for commercial brands and initiate his filmmaking by producing Constança, Meu Caro Amigo Chico, and directing Killing Waves. He then co-founds On Plate Still Hungry, a platform about food and culture, where he gets to explore those topics with his filmmaking.
After almost 20 years in London, Carlos moved to the US where he joined Vacationland. He produces the shorts "Remember the Rain", "We the Power" and "First Move". In 2021 he releases his first feature documentary "A Wonderful Kingdom" narrated by Malcolm MacDowell and distributed by Giant Pictures. Carlos is now working on his follow-up feature project while producing other short films for Vacationland.
