Mini bio

  • Born in a bath on Wednesday the 25th of October 1989 in Chester, Rosanna was the first child and only daughter of Janette and Michael Eaton. Her name was in question for a while, whether she should be named Rosanna Joy or Joy Rosanna, but the decision was made after the new parents received a bouquet of beautiful pink roses which matched perfectly the color of their newborn daughter's face from Michael's mother. Two years later and in a new house in Northwich in Cheshire, Rosanna's younger brother Rupert Alexander Eaton was born, also in a bath, and Rosanna dotes on him to this day, much to his despair.

The young Miss Eaton attended Sandiway Primary School for the first seven years of her education and was much loved by the staff and pupils (specifically her Reception teacher, Mrs. Fraser, whom became quite a favorite) before receiving a drama scholarship for Windermere St. Annes school in Cumbria where she attended until her parent's divorce in 2003. After the amicable separation and divorce she moved the nearby town of Kendal and to Kirkbie Kendal school for three years. Upon the completion of her exams she left school as fast as she could to follow her dream of acting and singing.

Rosanna had spent most of her time at school creating scripts, screenplays and short films but she was more well known for either planning or participating in theatre and musical productions, one of her favorites being an abridged version of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream", performed for the BBC's "One Night Of Shakespeare" festival.

Eaton's first official film breakthrough will be Journey to the Moon (2009) in which she plays the elderly Aunt of the lead character "Joe" and is known simply as "Auntie". She recollects her time in "The Shack" as one of her favorite memories and hopes to make many more as her film career progresses.
